The trough of a low pressure area (LPA) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) is affecting parts of Visayas and Mindanao, and the southwest monsoon (habagat) would prevail in several parts of the country, according to state weather bureau Pagasa’s early Saturday morning advisory.
Pagasa’s 4 a.m. weather bulletin indicates that Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms due to the trough of LPA.

Also, the same weather pattern is affecting Batanes, Cagayan, and Ilocos Norte due to the trough of a tropical cyclone outside PAR., This news data comes from:http://tjm-iitn-pbho-rt.redcanaco.com
